Sunrise Flight Academy recognizes that our International students value the convenience of attractive student housing options. We offer our students comfortably furnished apartments at the luxurious and ultra-modern Integra Shores community in Daytona Beach.
Each of our student housing units are outfitted with full kitchen appliances, Wi-Fi connectivity, high definition television, modern furnishings, and offer a wide variety of amenities such as swimming pools, clubhouse, tennis, and fitness centers. Our area also offers a wide range of recreational activities, to include world class golf courses and Florida’s best beaches.
In addition, Sunrise Flight Academy offers the convenience of daily shuttle service from each of our student housing locations. This includes transportation for your FAA medical examination and weekly shopping trips.
Although most students prefer to have their housing needs organized and ready for their arrival, if you prefer, Sunrise Flight Academy may arrange for alternatives, such as apartments, condominiums or homes for private rental in the Halifax area. Either way, our admissions counselors will be happy to assist you in determining the very best alternative.

The Federal Aviation Administration requires that flight students successfully complete knowledge tests for certain ratings and certifications. To better accommodate our students, Sunrise Flight Academy is proud to serve as a PSI Computer Assisted Testing Service (CATS) certified site. CATS is the recognized leader in educational, licensing and certification examinations.
Sunrise Flight Academy students, and others visiting our testing site, sit for their professionally proctored knowledge examinations in a comfortable, convenient and familiar environment. In most cases, your test results and documentation are available immediately.
The Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Sciences from Polk State adds more than just a tremendously valuable education to your resume. Earning this degree will allow career advancement opportunities well beyond that of the Associate of Science degree. With two concentrations for both Aerospace Administration and Professional Pilot, this degree covers even more operational theory and real-world practice in these two exciting fields. Mid-level administration positions will require a Bachelor’s degree while pilots will need the Bachelor’s degree to be hired by major airlines and most corporations in flying positions.
