Sunrise Aviation Hangar SignSUNRISE AVIATION in Ormond Beach is conveniently located in Central Florida (USA) on the Atlantic Ocean and only 7 nm north of the Daytona Beach International Airport.  It offers the ocean, beach, pleasant weather year-round in addition to an excellent airport for flight training.

A city that still has “small town charm”, Ormond Beach has about 40,000 residents.  Located in Volusia County, Florida, the same county as Daytona Beach, Ormond Beach was originally home to the Timucuan Indians.  In the 1880s, the railroad arrived to Florida bringing wealthy northerners to the beaches of the Atlantic Ocean that were warm even in the winter.  Seems like many never left!
