In the 1880s, the railroad arrived to Florida bringing wealthy northerners to the beaches of the Atlantic Ocean that were warm even in the winter. Seems like many never left!
ATTRACTIONS

KENNEDY SPACE CENTER. A worthwhile trip for the aviation enthusiast. Plan to spend most of a day here so that you can take one of the buses to the Saturn V exhibit and view the Shuttle launch pads close-up.
